Whole30 Day 6
  • Breakfast–I met with a bit of a challenge in that I began attending a Bible study on Acts that meets at 7:30 AM in the home of one of the members of my church. To kick off the year, the hostess asked us to bring breakfast dishes to go with the coffee-only that is usually served. I was initially a bit nervous about going, but decided to plow on through. I brought my own individual serving of the frittata from yesterday, and contributed a pretty bowl of raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries with tiny sprigs of mint as garnish. They were good, even without sugar or other fruit topping. Several people took some and seemed to enjoy them.
  • Lunch–Salmon from a previous meal; grilled veggies from dinner last night; dates
  • Snack–handful of cashews
  • Dinner–Taco-ish salad–lettuce, tomato, cucumber topped with ground beef and surrounded with slices of avocado; dates
  • After the challenge at breakfast, the rest of the day was uneventful.
